Understanding Camlock Fittings
Camlock fittings (cam and groove couplings) are the industry standard for fast-paced fluid transfer. This kit features a Type D female coupler and a male adapter. The system operates by inserting the male adapter into the female coupler and locking the cam arms into place, creating a reliable, sealed connection.
Important Technical Note: These components are manufactured from Polypropylene (PP). Please verify that PP is chemically compatible with the fluids you intend to transfer before use. For optimal results and to ensure a watertight seal on threaded connections, we recommend the use of PTFE tape (sold separately).
