Understanding Camlock Couplings
Camlock fittings (cam and groove couplings) are the industry standard for rapid hose and pipe connections. This kit utilizes a male adapter and a Type B female coupler. The system operates by inserting the male adapter into the female coupler and engaging the cam arms to lock the connection firmly in place, ensuring consistent flow and safety.
Important Technical Note: These fittings are constructed from Polypropylene (PP). Please verify that PP is compatible with your specific chemicals or fluids before installation. For optimal results and to ensure a watertight seal on the threaded connection, we recommend the use of PTFE tape (sold separately).
