Upgrade your rainwater harvesting system with this all-in-one installation kit. Designed for durability and ease of use, this set provides everything required to connect a water butt to your irrigation setup.
Kit Contents:
- 1 x ¾” BSP Water Butt Connector (BUTT34BSPM-F)
- 1 x ¾” BSP In-Line Valve (HCV34BSPM001BLACK)
- 1 x Tap Connector 3/4" BSP - 4mm Barb (TAPCON34BSPF-45MM001k)
- 1 x 27mm HSS Drill Bit Hole Saw Cutter (DB27MM)
Installation Flexibility
The included water butt connector is engineered for versatility. If your container features a pre-existing female thread, the connector can be screwed in directly. For containers without threads, simply use the included 27mm HSS drill bit to create a precise opening. By removing the back nut and one washer, you can insert the connector through the barrel wall. Re-securing the nut and washer on the inside ensures a reliable, leak-proof seal with washers positioned on both sides of the container wall.
Precision Flow Control
The 3/4" BSPM In-Line Soft Touch Valve provides effortless water management. Constructed from high-grade, lightweight plastic, this valve is resistant to corrosion and wear. The soft-touch mechanism allows for smooth, precise flow regulation, ensuring a secure seal when closed to prevent leaks in your irrigation or plumbing system.
Micro-Irrigation Integration
The 3/4" BSPF to 4mm Micro Tube Tap Adaptor acts as the bridge between your water butt and your garden irrigation network. It threads securely onto the 3/4" BSP valve, allowing for a seamless transition to 4mm micro tubing for targeted watering of plants and flowerbeds.
High-Performance Cutting
The 27mm HSS Hole Saw Cutter is built for clean, accurate drilling. Its high-speed steel construction offers excellent heat resistance and stability, making it ideal for cutting through plastic, wood, and metal alloys. It is specifically sized to create the perfect aperture for your 3/4" BSP fittings.
Important Note: This kit does not include PTFE tape. Please ensure you have this available separately to complete your installation.
